| "I
have always loved video production. When I was young, I spent
many hours experimenting with my parent's 8mm camcorder making
stop motion videos, and figuring out how to dub music onto
them. Years later, in high school, I took 3 years of TV/Radio
broadcasting where I learned a great deal about video production.
I loved every minute of the course. During my senior year,
I had an opportunity to create a short film to be shown at
a school film festival. I ended up winning best advanced drama
and most valuable senior in broadcasting. I had originally
planned on going to the Art Institute in Seattle for video
production, but that plan eventually fell through due to a
desire to stay in my home town. I went to the local Community
College and received an Associate in Applied Arts and Science
degree with an emphasis on digital media.
In
early 2005 I began doing freelance video production. The most
exciting thing that I got involved with that year was creating
a submission video for NBC's "Three Wishes" reality
TV show. (watch video)
At
the end of 2006, I became a licensed business owner. It has
been exciting getting to where I am now, and I look forward
to the challenges that lie ahead."
